Chamaecyparis grows best in moist, well-drained soil. Chamaecyparis pisifera and thyoidies do best in full sun. Chamaecyparis obtusa thrives in full sun but will tolerate shade.

A dwarf variegated variety of Japanese Hinoki Cypress. Plant dark green with half of all leaves cream. Plant makes a very columnar upright. Plant grows about 2 inches a year. Great container plant.
