Although there are three species of conifers known as redwoods, we have chosen to list them all here. Metasequoia glyptostroboides, (Dawn Redwood), Sequoia sempervirens (Coast Redwood) and Sequoiadendron giganteum (Giant Sequoia)





Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Matthaei Broom'
A compact deciduous conifer which originated as a witch's broom mutation. Foliage has a rich yellow-orange cast. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. 4' tall x 3' wide in 10 years. Hardy to -20 degrees. USDA zone 5. Big One gallons-$22.00


Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Miss Grace' Miss Grace Dawn Redwood
A small, deciduous conifer with gracefully-weeping branches. Refined gray-green foliage in summer, strong orange in autumn. Prefers sun/partial shade in well-drained soil. Metasequoia glyptostroboides 'Silhouette' Silhouette Dawn Redwood
New to the trade from Holland; a small, upright, deciduous conifer. Wonderful cream-white variegation makes it truly unique. Considered to be the best variegated dawn-redwood to date. Sequoia simpervirens ‘Albo-Spicata’
A rare white variegated form of the Coast Redwood. Smaller growing than species , wanting to lay flat, with compressed stems. Foliage is gray green, with all new leaves white. Found around 1881 in the United Kingdom. 3rd year graft 16-24 inches-$25.00


Sequoiadendron giganteum`Albospica' White Variegated Dwarf Giant Redwood
A dwarf variegated variety of Giant Redwood. Plant makes an irregular round bush form with white and green leaves. Sometimes can sunburn. Only grows about 4 inches a year. Rare and choice! 10 Year Dimensions: 4 ft. x 4 ft. Two gallons-$30.00


Sequoiadendron giganteum 'Glaucum'
‘Glaucum’ is a blue-needled selection that is ghostly and very effective as a focal point due to the lighter color. needs full sun in any well-drained soil and is drought tolerant once established. It is virtually maintenance free. will grow to 10 feet tall by 6 feet wide in ten years. To 70 feet tall and 40 feet wide at the base after successive generations. Hardiness USDA zones 7 to 9. Sequoiadendron giganteum 'Pendulum'
Its undulating, pendulous branches are clothed with curtains of foliage. The main trunk grows predominantly upright, occasionally dipping, then growing upright again.
